MacOS Catalina 10.15.5 is out (with Mojave Security Update 2020-003)

These updates fixes a lot of security issues for macOS. So it is a rather important update.

But it also includes some features and fixes. One of them is that we on Mojave no longer can ignore the upgrade to Catalina. That is simply not supported anymore.

Same thing for Catalina, so whenever 10.16 is released we cannot use the ignore feature to prevent this.

I’m not in favor of postponing updates, but I understand workflows and often it can be quite a hassle to fix everything on all of Apples releases.

It’s this command that is not working anymore:

softwareupdate --ignore "macOS Catalina"

So we have to prevent this using some other method instead…
